eLink's President - Matthews Elected Chairman of Chattanooga Technology Council (CTC)
 

The Chattanooga Technology Council, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting the growth of technology businesses and technology education throughout the greater Chattanooga area, elected new officers and directors.


Chris Matthews, president of eLink Business Innovations, Inc was elected Chairman of the Board of the Tech Council. T.J. Gentle, an attorney with Miller & Martin LLP, was elected President and CEO of the Tech Council. Jonathan Bragdon, president of Tricycle Inc., and Randy Robinson, vice president of Information Technology for UnumProvident, were elected to serve as Vice Presidents of the Tech Council. Tim Andrews, director of the Research Council, was elected to serve as Treasurer, and Dan Saieed, director of Economic Development for Hamilton County, was elected to serve as Secretary.


They will each have one-year terms.


Elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Tech Council:

- Dale T. Bradshaw, Senior Manager, Power Delivery Technologies, TVA Energy Research and Applications
- Sheila M. Brooks, TVA Economic Development Specialist
- Chris Daly, Practice Administrator/Consultant of Erlanger
- Rick Ector, CEO of Tennessee Valley Infrastructure Group, Inc.
- Rick Hlubek, CEO of Intellisys
- Dr. Harry McDonald, Chair of Excellence in Computational Engineering at UTC SimCenter
- Matt McLelland, Director of Technology Generous Giving / Maclellan Foundation
- J. Ed Marston, Director of Marketing and Communications, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce
- Dr. Andy Novobilski, Professor and Department Head, College of Engineering and Computer Science at UTC
- John Riddell, Director of the Hamilton County Center for Entrepreneurial Growth
- Merri Mai Williamson, President of Application Researchers, LLC
- Uwe Zitzow, President of the Chattanooga Engineering Club


The Chattanooga Technology Council is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting the growth of technology businesses and education through the greater Chattanooga area. Membership is open to individuals, companies, non-profit institutions, education facilities, and other organizations that are interested in supporting the growth of technology in Chattanooga.

Mr Matthews founded and sponsored the Chattanooga Technology Council, in 2002-2003, where he served as President and CEO during the early stages of the organization. Prior to founding the Chattanooga Technology Council, he also founded the Chattanooga Java Users Group (CJUG) www.cjug.net in 2000 where he remains as acting President.
